This is a very well preserved A1 with a great old time sound! The serial number dates it to late 1913/early 1914 and all parts are original. The original (non-adjustable) bridge has a glued ebony shim (seen in photos) giving the mandolin a very playable medium action height. The original tuners are completely functional, but after over a century of use, they are a little stiff. The mandolin is crack free. You will see some dings and scuffs, most of which can be seen in the photos, but overall this mandolin has been very well preserved. Includes original hard case with all latches still functioning.
