Here’s a fantastic mandolin from Nashville, Indiana luthier, Bruce Taggart. Being just a few miles down the road from where Bruce was based, I’ve had many Taggart F5’s pass through my hands and feel that this instrument represents the pinnacle of his workmanship. This one has a focused voicing with plenty of volume - woody low end with clear, bell highs. The fit and finish is also quite impressive with beautiful shading in the finish work - just an all around well executed instrument.
