This is a wonderful sounding guitar, hand built by Hiroshi Suda from Osaka, Japan. His work has been endorsed by many discerning musicians such as Grant Gordy, Chris Eldridge, Kenny Smith and many others. The guitar is very warm with an expressive voicing and an almost dreadnaught like low end. It’s an absolute delight to play and hard to put down. It has been professionally gigged with and shows signs of honest play wear and some finish checking. There are two very small (repaired) surface cracks at the pickguard which tend to be somewhat common due to the pickguard limiting humidity induced movement of the top. They do not appear to go through and are stable. The guitar has just received a refret and setup. It plays easy with medium action and plenty of saddle material to work with.
