Up for sale is this lovely pre-war 0-17. This is a fantastic sounding guitar that's hard to put down - It has all of the warmth you would expect from a 90 year old mahogany Martin, but is also very loud and clear with great note separation. Weighing in at 3 lbs 0 oz, this is an exceptionally light guitar. With a recent neck reset, the guitar has great intonation and playability. The bridge and bridge plate seem to be original. At some point the guitar has had some finish work done and then recently the pick guard was removed and the top was refinished with oil varnish. There is a very slight color difference in the wood under where the pickgaurd sat. This can be visible or disappear depending on what angle you’re viewing the guitar and could always be covered with a new pick guard. There are a few dings in the top that can be seen in the photos and then there is some finish wear on the back/sides that can also be seen in the photos. Happy to provide more pictures upon request. There were 3 very tight top cracks near the lower bout that have been repaired and are no longer visible. The guitar is equipped with bar frets and vintage style Grover tuners. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
